Odle Motorsports welcomes a new driver for the
2006 season!

South Boston, Virginia
April 1, 2006
L.W.
and the rest of the team were encouraged by two solid practice runs
as they prepared the Speedco Ford for Saturday's race in South
Boston. On Friday, they had the fourth fastest practice run in the
field, and Saturday they ran sixth fastest. Unfortunately, a spring
problem arose in the #46 car during qualifying, requiring some
repairs. Due to the spring problem, L.W. qualified at 28th position.
Repairs made to correct this problem after qualifying sent L.W. to
the tail at the start of the race.
He refused to stay there long, though. Determined to have a solid
finish in the season's first race, L.W. worked his way into sixth
place around lap 180. Then some contact resulted in a black flag and
a return to the back of the pack. Refusing to settle, L.W. wrangled
his way back through the field for an impressive seventh-place
finish.
Considering the challenges that arose during the South Boston
race, L.W. feels confident that a top-five finish is within reach
for the Odle team and the Speedco #46 car. Their next opportunity
will be at the Lonesome Pine Speedway in Coeburn, Virginia, on April
22.
All the team at Odle Motorsports would like to thank all of our
sponsors for their support and all those who helped make this start
to our race season, and this weekend, a success!!
