Joe Gaita Takes First Place at the Charlie Campbell Memorial BFGoodrich Tires 250 in Jennerstown, PA!

The team at Odle Motorsports headed to Jennerstown, PA to kick off race 1 of the 2005 Championship Series with their new Billy Hess Race Car. Crew Chief, Darin Odle, was very confident of the car and was positive that the team could bring home a win. The excitement grew when the Speedco Ford, Hess race car finished 4th quickest in practice. As the race began the team’s moral grew, the car was running excellent and everything was going smoothly. The pit times were very good, Joe was driving excellent, and the team was definitely on their game. Everyone’s hard work finally paid off when Joe Gaita and team Odle Motorsports took the checkered flag at the Charlie Campbell Memorial BF Goodrich 250.

It was a long awaited and well deserved victory for Odle Motorsports and Speedco. This was the teams first Championship race win since entering the Pro Cup Series. The team started the Championship Series in 9th place. This win catapulted them to within 13 points of 1st place in the National Point Standings. With little time to celebrate, Darin and his team are focusing on the 2nd race in the Championship Series at Mansfield Speedway, where they are hoping to take another victory.
